  • What documents are required for a student visa for Canada?
    Document requirements for student visas depending on your profile. But generally you will require, Valid Passport, Proof of Acceptance by a DLI, Proof of Funds, Passport Size Photographs, Immigration Medical Examination (IME), English Language Proficiency Exam Score, Statement of Purpose, and other documents.
  • How much study gap is acceptable in Canada?
    If your study gap is justified with valid reasons, it may be acceptable. A study gap of 2 years is acceptable for Diploma and Undergraduate courses in Canada. A study gap of 5 years is acceptable for postgraduate courses in Canada. For example, some of them include a break for studies, preparations for the entrance exam, or internships. The best option for the gap years is having significant experience in the related field of study.
  • Is GRE required to study in Canada?
    Yes, if you wish to pursue an MS in Canada, you may need to appear for the GRE for admission into a university. Some universities and courses may demand a high score in the GRE too. This test helps universities to evaluate the capabilities of students for higher education in Canada.
  • How Many intakes in Canada?
    There are three intakes available at the universities in Canada. Fall intake starts in September, Winter intake starts in January and Summer intake starts in May.
  • What is the procedure to extend the student visa?
    You must apply to renew your study permit at least before 30 days of its expiry. Check the expiry date mentioned in the top right corner of your study permit. Before you apply for an extension, you must make sure that your passport is still valid.
